Stud the 4th was an abject disaster at the windows. I was the king of 3 outta 4 yesterday and we blew the Hollywood pik-6 by a very small nose.
Good thing the 3rd was good.
Currently hard at work pouring over approximately 700 charts from 11 tracks from the last 7 days races looking for buys. So far its lean, 4 candidates. two from CD, one from Belmont, and one I love from Calder. 7 tracks left to do.
I'm burnt to a crisp after 7 straight days of racing. I can't sustain the intensity that long to handicap for 7 straight days. After a while it all runs together. I'm on hiatus from capping until Friday. Next two days will involve the 700 charts I mentioned, lots of emails and phone calls. Its back to work, not that I ever really stop.

Damn Oracle.I tell ya right now that the gamest animal I have seen in a while is that Howie Zucker horse with the funny name.He fought back so damn gamely. A 3 year old colt named Tontine Too.Ran June 25th at Hwd in race 3.A Florida bred Chestnut by Concerto-Leah's Angel by Caller I.D. You can tell he thinks he is a really nice horse, and is probably the best he will ever have.I think they may have paid a couple hundred k for him(and these people don't spend a whole lot like that.)That guy Richie(from the other site)would probably know more about them.

Scuds I always appreciate any tips on a good one from anyone even though I watch most races I can't watch em all. The only problem with one like that is that if they paid 200 grand they are gonna want a lot of cash for it. Tough to put those together because when someone is looking to spend mid to high 6 figures on a horse it has to have shown grade one type talent on the track or if its a mare have a huge pedigree for residual value.
