Why I am giving up on this game

Yesterday, had 8 out of 11 winners at Monmouth Park... still took an ass-kicking! The winners of the last 2 races were completely unplayable by my handicapping methods. If it weren't for bad luck the last 2 weeks, I'd have no luck at all

A quick rundown, because if I relived it in complete detail I might shoot myself , but I'm not disciplined enough to just play my "main" track. So for every winner I had at Monmouth, I matched with losers at CD, Belmont, and Delaware (Delaware???). And none of the winners at Monmouth were over 4-1, which is the way Monmouth runs, which is why I stop playing Monmouth every year after opening day... and my 2-1's became 7-5 during the race.. but that's another story

1st race at Monmouth is a perfect example, as I posted, I came in to the race loving the 4 horse, with the 7 horse as my second...well when it comes time to bet, I start looking at the 2, and then the 3, who is 25-1... so I end up playing 4-7 for $2 lousy, stinkin dollars ...(fighting back tears)... I can't continue this
