The bottom line about the Lexington was that it was a terrible field running on a surface that is providing one unreliable result after another. While anything is possible, and much like Cinderella perhaps overnight Slew's Tizzy turned into a superstar, it is far more likely that sometime before his next race the clock will strike twelve.
I understand what you are saying. I think he has run decent races in the past not mediocre. Yes, his best races were on poly but the race he lost his rider, he was making a nice move. I think he is a big striding horse. LIke I said yesterday it may have just been the poly, but in the back of my mind, I keep thinking maybe he is just figuring out that big stride of his. Yes the Lexington he had everything his own way no traffic trouble, etc... But he ran a decent time and decent fractions. I think IF he figures out how to use that stride through traffic, he may be one to reckon with.

I did also say that I wouldn't bet him in the derby, but if they do skip the derby, I WILL have some $$ on him in the Preakness. He is my wiseguy horse.

I like other horses, just have a soft spot for Tizzy.
