Yep, the gray Stravinsky colt. Unfortunately, he should be the fave next time he runs unless there is another hot first timer going in... (He'll probably run at Churchill.)

only problem for the Stravinsky colt is his trainer is Eric Reed..a complete non-winner

Not sure you can say that Eric Reed is a complete "non-winner"

I apologize...let me rephrase my comments...Eric Reed is a complete non-winner and a handicapping throw-out at every track not named Beulah, River Downs, Turfway Park and Ellis. I have never met him and have heard he is a very nice guy, so this is no knock on him as a person. Everyone has to take stands when you are in this game and sometimes it hurts you. For example, I was told that Ronny's horse (Preachin Man) had trained as good as any baby at KEE in the last couple years and the only bets I cashed were DD and PK3 because I can't spend my money on Eric Reed. He came home second and all of my multi-race tickets were out...but I could show you a list of dozens and dozens of times where I am PLUS from that strategy. My list burns me sometimes but I am certainly on the positive side in the long run.

Not true Horse ran a nice race but he has a colt by unbridled time that will outrun PM

Default Stakes Quality?

Round Pen,
You seem to know about Preachin Man as compared to others in the trainer's barn. Do you believe he is stakes quality? I love the way he looks. I would like to see him run agaist the horse you've indicated is better. How much better is he?

I know all parties involved very well here and not to say that PM is not a nice horse I just think the Unbridled time colt right now is just a little better horse if all goes well he should run towards the end of Keeneland. Ronnie has only had the UT Colt for a couple of weeks his main training was done here in Ocala.

As far as PM I know the brothers (Mckathan that is) have been very high on him for quite awhile I believe if memory serves me right that PM was around a $35k yearling at kee Sept. I have not spoke to anyone today but I would think if PM came out of the race ok they would probably run him back Derby Day. Name of race escapes me but it is a stake for 2 year olds going 5f.
