What is even better is that while he disgustes me with the whole Mystery Giver thing (Dell, you think I would actually talk about Block and not talk about this?!!!), 90% of his stock is his family operation, thus he isn't getting an hourly rate from himself. SO he is making money doing what he is doing because of his success, in an age where some trainer just can't cut it anymore becuase of the super trainers.

If I had a horse in Chicago, he'd be at the very top of a short list of people I'd want to send my horse to, regardless of what surface my horse was running on -- though especially if the pedigree screamed turf.

I'm sad that Vacare isn't with him anymore, but that's the business I suppose.
