Just checked the Magna 5 website.
The pool has ranged from $502,000 - $645,000 from week to week. Last week's was $645K (I'm sure due to the Santa Anita Handicap and the Fountain of Youth being included). Let's hope the races they choose this week make it playable.

The pool this week approaches 1 million, I guarantee you. They'll bet at least 550k into it and there's what, 337k in the carryover? Huge Magna 5 pool last week made Santa Anita have to kick in the difference for the Pk 6 guarantee.

I am excited about this wager, alot like the NTRA National Pick 4, just a bit weaker. I am sure that it will be well over $1 million...

Just glanced at the Magna, and it looks playable.
One interesting angle for Santa Anita on Saturday is that Nakatani and Gomez are both at the Fairgrounds. Looks like Espinoza and/or Mig could have a big day.
