Commenting on the BC without mentioning the last race debacle on Friday brings to mind the question, "Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?" But I'll try.
We had two very good days of racing with a perfect mix of extremely formful performances and total headscratchers. The races had more of an international component that I had expected, with both the two Japanese wins and the three turf wins by Godolphin runners. That bodes well for future BC participation.

I managed to cash a few tickets, although it would have been much more profitable if Jackie's Warrior had not gotten caught up in a suicidal pace battle.

Cal, I share your feeling of overload and mental exhaustion. I love the BC races but I'm glad they only come around once a year.
