So the trainer of that impossible horse that just won is a known cheater who fled California after he got caught and suspended. My theory is some of these guys have seen what Maker, et al have been doing and see that they can get away with whatever they want now.
I think we start to see some really weird results (even more than the last two days) as more and more barns start to try and keep up with all the juicing. I had one foot out the door anyway but this meet has made me realize what a giant waste of time and money this sport has become. If you're a non gambler, it's fun and some of the stories are nice. But as a gambling game it has become impossible and I have never felt that way before. Too many obstacles against us as horseplayers. |
