You will never feel better by winning some other race.
Retire him. This is the only way to hurt them (like they so pleasured from hurting you.) You don't have to run him ever again. Don't run him until you are given what you deserve back to you. Don't let them win. If you run him, they win. Don't ever act like this is just. Go to your grave denying them ever seeing this horse ever run again.
