He's just a really neat horse. I don't think anyone sane has illusions of him beating the best horses in the country, but that doesn't mean you can't like him.

As for backpedaling, two people pointed out that I was out of line with my assertion that too many people over rate him. I agreed with them, instead of uselessly defending my position. If that's backpedaling, so be it.
