So it IS true. Charity does begin at home.

And it ends there, too.
How much does Trump give you think?

My friend DB said it best:

Ford Foundation: gives away Henry Ford's money.
Gates Foundation: gives away Bill Gates' money.
Clinton Foundation: gives Clintons money.

I'm not going to parse over who gives more money. Maybe Trump's a miser. Maybe not. He should prove the generosity that he brags about.

What really gets a rise out of me about this "charitable giving" is that libs think it's fine and dandy that the Clintons gave to their own charity, but many of those same people think that my donations to my church and its charities shouldn't be deductible as charitable contributions. I KNOW where my contributions go and the good that they do.

Every week before thanksgiving I buy $500 bucks worth of turkeys and deliver them to my local food bank. When they ask me if I want a receipt I always say no . I do it because I want to and the feeling I get. Seeing a family walk inwhile I walk out is worth 1000 times the cost. Those that give and expect a tax writeoff are in my opinion are not doing it from the heart. I may be the only person in world that feels this way but so be it.

Whoever says charity shouldnt be deductible is simply daft. That is crazy.

Does not matter if it is nothing. I'd take an honest miser over a dishonest Ponzi scheme coordinator any day.

You know what is beautiful. Once when I said something negative about Trump I think it was about abortion. You accused me of slanderous statements and you asked for evidence. Yet you accuse someone of being a Ponzi scheme operator... lol. Wish you had the evidence to prove it cause I view it as a pay for play.

I view it as the soft implementation of Sharia into the United States.

The Clintons turn a blind eye to radical Islamist terrorist groups and ramp up surveillance on white militias and Christian "extremists".

I expect if Hillary wins she'll have a few Wacos. She hates Christians 10x more than her Husband.

Fair enough - I deserve that.

Replace Ponzi Scheme Coordinator with Bribery Scheme Coordinator.

It really pisses me off that a supposed Public service job can be parlayed into a Billion dollar empire...

I read once that upon retirement, other politicians questioned how successful the retiring pol was really, since he left no richer than he was when he'd arrived. it's appalling.

and it seems one of the reasons the gop field was so huge, is losing candidates quite often parlay that run into high speaking fees, book sales, etc. some of them had to know they had no shot, but it was still a way to make money...and any debt they incur by running may not ever be paid. newt gingrich is still in debt from his last run, and has said he has no intention of ever paying it.
