3:15. Walsingham. 8pts win. This rates a great bet. A half-brother to Strong Promise, Walsingham showed some ability for Richard Lee over hurdles (fell on his sole start over fences) at a modest level, winning twice last season. He is now switched to the outstanding Evan Williams and goes straight back over fences. A good-topped gelding, he has enough about him to do well over the bigger obstacles, his breeding backing this up. He gets in off a lowly mark of just 90 here and rates a cracking bet at around 11/2. ........mmmmmmmmmm, or perhaps not.....Pulled Up: -8pts Total: +178.04pts
