Patient ride by JV on him the colt. Broke slow, looked to not like the dirt in his face those first few strides. I haven't looked, but it would be interesting to see what his final quarter time looked like.

I wonder how highly regarded he is in the barn. I hadn't heard much about "hopes" for this colt. If he's as quality as he appeared to look yesterday (and he stays sound), he will make a fun addition to the older horse division next year.

It was a nice win, but I think people get slightly carried away with late runners and how they make a show of the race late.

If he continues to develop, seems like a nice 9 to 10 furlong horse.

Pace was hot and the race setup for him, but he obviously ran very well w/ a 90 beyer.

I was fortunate enough to be there for the race and totally gave up on him after seeing how far back he was on the back stretch. Then out of no where he made this run. It was truly one of those Wow Moments.

Here's a pic I snapped in the paddock.

I'm envious. On the video you can't see how far back he was because of course, he's so far back he wasn't even on the screen. I would have loved to have seen the whole run.

Great call by Larry C in that race. Built up the drama beautifully. Authentic excitement.

Cheers,

Otis
