Best of luck to all. This was a very interesting race to dissect. Danza Cavallo has run all of her races in France, but seems to do well on softer turf and gets lasix for the first time today. Hellenistic has run in Ireland versus much less talented competition, but also gets first time Lasix, and you have to respect her trainer's ability. Viva Rafaela likes to run on the front end and has a lot of class, but she will get as much pace pressure as she can handle from Invading Humor. Tabreed interests me for a possible spot, given her late kick to be able to pick up a piece if the pace collapses. All in all a very interesting race at the unusual distance of1 1/2 miles.

Doesn't look as if any of us got this one. Coming up with Maximova (the apparently weakest member of Clement's three headed entry) for the show position was very tough to do.

Even though this was a mile and one half race, they couldn't have been going any slower on the front end (I think I heard a split of 1:18.00). That, combined with the yielding turf, must have made it very difficult for any of the deep closers to make up much ground in the stretch.
