if the county police there are at all like the local yokels here, it could only improve to get them out of the lead role. i think the police force there is a good example of how the feds mishandled the aftermath of 911, and homeland security. every pissant police force wanted their share of the largesse that was suddenly made available-as tho a place like ferguson was as large a terrorist target as new york city. so, they get all this money and all these cool toys-so, hey, might as well use them. too bad there was no training given along with all that.
