Regarding the 5 borough coverage, there are infinite viewing options until a deal is in place, as Grening lays out.. "races will continue to be available on NYRARewards.com, NYRA’s ROKU channel, HRTV, and TVG" (not to mention any other ADW).. and you would expect the channel to be back by Wednesday when racing resumes anyway.
Regarding the broadcasting, there are only a handful of set hosts in the country that are as fluid and effortless in their delivery as Jason Blewitt. You don't have to like or rely on his opinion of races, but he is hardly someone whose presence is off-putting. He's one of the most affable and professional presenters involved in the telecasting of the sport. Belmont Insider is infinitely more interesting and useful than a rote replay broadcast, especially given the availability of those replays 24/7 at NYRA.com minutes after race: http://www.nyra.com/belmont/videos/race-replay/
