![]() In the finale at AQU, Jullisa gunned Bwana Booyah out of the gate and opened up by more than 2 lengths in the blink of an eye...
However, it was at that point when she showed a new dimension to her riding, she rated Bwana Booyah for about 60 yards before continuing to send him along again enroute to a 6+ length wire-to-wire victory at 21/1 odds. Boscar was immediately present on DT after the race...but to no avail. Even though Boscar is a detestable troll, Laredo deserves credit for making the best of what little physical ability she has. She gets it...and a lot of jockeys in that room don't. If you can get a loose lead in a paceless race ... YOU ALWAYS take it...and take it without trying to fight your speed and back down the fractions. Let them move to you instead of wrestling your mount back to them. |
