![]() Just for the record, I didn't mean that dying in a riding accident was my dream. I meant that riding racehorses was my dream. But if I do die, and it is not in my sleep, I would like to die doing what I loved to do such as riding horses. It would be a most fitting end for someone like me who gives their life to these animals. I don't like getting hurt, but if you ride in the manner that I do, you are going to get seriously injured multiple times. I know this, but horses are definitely worth it and, therefore, I'm not afraid. When you are involved with a sport such as this, you have to face death and pain head on or you won't succeed. There is nothing to fear but fear itself. In no other place is this so true as when you are on the back of a horse. I've already suffered two near death experiences. But what is near death? How does anyone particularly know what near death is? And now I'm just talking... I hope I don't get my teeth knocked out either ![]() |
