Talamo has broken wrist

Jockey Joe Talamo suffered a fractured bone in his left wrist in a one-horse spill in Thursday's third race, his agent, Scotty McClellan, told Del Mar publicity officials late Thursday afternoon.

Talamo is not expected to return for the remainder of the Del Mar meeting, which ends on Sept. 8.
