![]() With all the attention on how much of a difference it would've made if Premium Tap, it completely overshadows the trouble the Perfect Drift had in this race. This Race was identical to last year's BC Classic for Perfect Drift.
He looked full of run at the top of the stretch, and was blocked repeatedly. Leparoux tried to take him to the outside, and he was blocked. Then he swerved Drift in, and was blocked, and so Leparoux decided to finally split horses when a hole finally opened mid stretch, AND HE PLOWED THROUGH WITH A BIG RUN. By then it was too late. It seems like Perfect Drift always finds a way to get in trouble or come up just short. But he had as many excuses as Premuin Tap today. But I don't think necessarily Preimum Tap wins that race if 'Tap doesn't check. Because if Perfect Drift could have gotten a clean ride as well, those two easily finish 1-2 in the race. |
