The ironic thing about the Nolan Ryan trade was that the Mets also sent three other players with NR for Jim Fregosi. Honestly he may have never become the Nolan Ryan that we know now if he hadnt been traded to California. The Mets were very cautious with him during his 19 year old to 24 year old seasons. His first three seasons with CA were anything but cautious as he put up 284/326/ and 332 innings despite still being wild enough to walk 523 batters. I know about the blisters and all but that was an amazing three year run of power pitching that we will never see again

WOW. For hating Baseball Tonight, you sure do know your stuff. Maybe you should be on the show. You'll do alot better than all the rest of the guys.
