I think you are totally offbase. First of all he was a point guard in Boston. He plays much more off the ball now. Secondly LeBron james rarely scores off off other guys passes, he also controls the ball a lot which will cut down on guards assists. He also is assigned to cover the other teams best wing player on defense. The FG% is hardly a big deal considering he only avgs about 10 shots a game. Over a 10 game period it is three more missed shots. The guy does have a problem staying healthy which is why he isnt more respected. Even this year he was hurt and came back fairly quickly afterwards which surely dipped his numbers. 2 key stats that you failed to mention is that the number of turnovers and fouls has dropped quite a bit which shows that he is growing as a player. Basketball stats are also really affected by systems and coaches way more than baseball
