What looked like a straightforward series for the double carryover at Santa Anita Friday turned out to be still waters running deep. Got clobbered, as did many, with the sextet kicking out a superb $75,000. Nothing appears to be a gimme Saturday eitrher with a grueling Magna 5 and many contentious races lined up.
