This is just the latest nonsense from the unbelievably incompetent and wasteful MTA. I realize this doesn't affect the vast majority of you, but with a track as difficult to get to as Belmont if one doesn't have a car (I don't), ending this service would be pretty obnoxious. It's not as if the trains run on the hour, every hour. There are two in the morning/early afternoon and one after the races. I swear, the MTA makes the banking industry look sane and frugal.
