TVG Classic - Mineshaft

Did anyone see the show TVG Classic last night when Mineshaft won the JCGC. Then at the end of the show they said that Mineshaft was retired before the Breeders Cup Classic due to multiple injuries. Now I dont remember, but what were these injuries?
