They have tried it with Adriano a couple times, that horse won't crack the top 10 in the Derby but they are FORCING IT.

They don't have to force Polinus into this, instead they could take their time. It is such a novel idea to try and be patient with a good horse.

It isn't like this horse is seasoned and has 8 races under his belt. SA Derby will be his 5th race I think.

Everyone's dream is to get to the Derby, this I understand, but they could easily win some races with this guy and put the money they win from this horse, into some yearlings and develop their Derby horse, instead of potentially ruining this horse.
