Curlin and Pyro

They worked in tandem this morning and, according to bloodhorse, only noses apart at the finish line. The 6 furlongs was timed in 1:13 (link below). My question is this, does working with Curlin help Pyro or does it make no difference at all? I could only think that working with a horse like Curlin could only help a 3 year old like Pyro. What are your thoughts (if any)?
