In current-day recruiting, LSU hardly ever loses out on a recruit that is also interested in Michigan (if ever)... they may lose some recruits to USC and Florida, but LSU is privy to some of the more sought after recruits in the South. The top coaching jobs well recognized as such are Alabama,Michigan,Notre Dame,Ohio State,Oklahoma....and several others ...none of which would be the LSU.
