A surprise from Arlington
When I was at Sumwon's race at Arlington, I had a winning ticket on another race I forgot to cash and found a few days later.
Checked one day when I was over at Churchill, no, they wouldn't cash it. A couple months ago, I photocopied the ticket, crossed my fingers, dropped the original in an envelope to "Mutual Department Arlington Park" - "Please cash and send me a check". I figured at worse, somebody would have a couple of nice dinners on me, the ticket was just sitting around here. It took forever, but Saturday I got a check from Churchill Downs, Inc. I'm surprised. But nice to know the system grinds on, albeit slowly
