And when I asked the owner of Horse Racing Abroad why they've never done a Summer trip/s to Del Mar, Saratoga and Arlington-he's said he's tried but there's absolutely no interest.

Foreigners don't know what they're missing but should Track Managments be trying to promote themselves abroad in an attempt to lure Europeans to the US in August.

Apart from trainers, owners and agents over for the sale- i'd reckon I've probably only come across 5 or 6 European visitors in the 5 seasons I've visited Saratoga.

I agree 100%.. its a great atmosphere in Saratoga and Del Mar. Great weather, great people, great racing etc... trainers that have decent horses who need firm ground could do alot worse than send it over for some nice rich turf stakes races over the 6 weeks of Toga..a prep and then the sword dancer..
