![]() Could the fact that the US $ is so weak right now be preventing horses from overseas coming to Monmouth for the Breeder's Cup? I know the purses are still huge but if you don't win they may not be so appealing as the drop off from the winners cut to second and third is dramatic.
The thought occured to me the other day when I saw that the US $ was no = to the Canadian $ and I wondered if anybody else thought that it might have an impact on the Breeder's Cup. On the flip side does anyone thing that the buying was so strong at recently concluded Keeneland sale due to an increase in people coming to the US to buy horses using stronger foreign currency?
