I could care less what people do in private or, for that matter, in public. I might not care for it, I might think it's funny and laugh, whatever.
Personally, I don't care all that much for 'special language' hate crime legislation. It seems like laws that apply to everyone should be enough. Frankly, I credit/blame lobbyists and other lawyers for the legislation.
I don't think you can legislate tolerance and decency.
