There will be plenty of competition when the racing shifts to Belmont. Prado, Velazquez, Cornelio, and Garrett Gomez are all on the way up there and with Coa sticking around you have a solid colony. Talamo will get plenty of mounts because of the 5 lb. bug and because he should be riding a lot for Dutrow.
The jockey colony in NY from Belmont on through the Breeders' Cup is rock solid and very tough to break into in a big way. Talamo has a lot of talent but winning a lot of races won't be easy. NT
