Default George Washington

back in "pre training" so O'Brien says.. good to see him on his way back!

from sportinglife..

George Washington, brilliant winner of the 2000 Guineas and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes last year, has returned to pre-training after enduring fertility problems as a stallion.

The four-time Group One winner has reportedly rejoined Aidan O'Brien's string at Ballydoyle, around a fortnight after 2007 Classic hope Holy Roman Emperor was retired to take his place at stud.

O'Brien is keen to stress no firm plans have been made for George Washington just yet, but racegoers could conceivably see him in action in a couple of months.

"George is back with us," O'Brien told the Racing Post.

"He's in an isolation yard and is doing light exercise. You could call it pre-training, and we'll just have to wait and see how things go with him.

"He's been entered for the Tattersalls Gold Cup on May 27, but it's far too soon to be talking about where he might run and it's quite possible the Tattersalls race could come too soon for him."
