![]() The current situation is setting up to be quite interesting.
Yes, the President is the "commander-in-chief". However, I predict that there might be some in Congress that do not wish to abbrogate their oversite powers. It should become more interesting in the next few days, especially if the people that oppose current policies show up in the freezing cold on Saturday, Jan. 27, to again express the way they voted on Nov 7, 2007. This is not over. My hope is that the constraints expressed within the Constitution are recognised, and that a "nation of the people, by the people, and for the people", shall not be usurped by anyone that designs himself as a dictator, and that the will of the people "shall not perish from this Earth". http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireS...2826051&page=1 This is not over.
