![]() Tradition be damned. It just doesn't seem right to run the "Arlington Million" at Churchill. I've
never seen the race in person but watching horses like Bricks and Mortar, The Tin Man, Mecke, Awad and the great 9 year old John Henry win on the lush Arlington turf course was something special. Maybe it's just me but I don't like it. And not just because I was 0 for everything again. I can lose anywhere. Oh well. One day I'll be watching the Kentucky Derby run at the Downs of Kamloops. This is the commentary you get when no player can show a profit on the day. Cal tried to hit the board but fell a little short. Zippy hit an exacta but was just treading water. Not even Joly or Digger could sniff a profit. Cruz had a few good horses and Indian Hemp was in with a shot but for the second time this year it was Golden Sombrero time. Following are the results. Let me know if I missed a score. See you all next week. Better luck next week.
