3rd floor walkaround

I need some advice regarding Kentucky Derby tickets. Are 3rd Floor walk around clubhouse tickets worth the price/purchase? Will I be able to see any of the Derby? Are there places to sit down? I have never been to the Derby or Churchill downs and will be going with a group of about 5 people. I am just trying to maximize the experience in relation to cost. I think my biggest concern is not being able to see the race or chill out if needed. I appreciate the help in advance.
