![]() Race 1:
#9 Deirdre: Outclasses these by far. #3 Intellogent: Jumped into the side of the gate at the start last time out. Firm turf suits. #4 Mount Everest: Tough trip in HK. Repeat of BC Turf makes him competitive. #7 Royal Youmzain Race 2: #2 Ghoul: Stalking trip at this distance looks perfect. 25-1 on Peter Miller in a turf sprint. #4 Graignes: Ran some decent races as a 3yo. Eligible to improve as a 4yo. #3 Glorious Journey #11 Speak in Colours Race 3: #14 Dramatic Device: Going to take a flyer with this one, hoping he’s just hated the Saudi dirt. Showed some promise last year and, given the handicap conditions of this race, gets a massive weight break. #4 Called to the Bar #1 Cross Counter #2 Dee Ex Bee Race 5: #14 Alnajim Albaaher #10 Omsiyaatee #1 Ala Sawab #9 Aenan Alaezm Race 6: #10 Rowdy Rates: Smith got a nice handle of the track yesterday and he one-turn mile should suit. #9 Rajee Allah: Has dominated his two starts and could be tough to run down if he gets the lead. #1 Bella Fever #3 Billy Batts Race 7: #4 Imperial Hint: Outclasses these by far. #3 Gladiator King #2 Drafted #7 Matera Sky Race 8: #11 North America: Hasn’t shown up on Dubai World Cup nights (has been well bet the last 3 years) but has talent and inside speed here. Had excuses last time (had to work very hard from a wide draw and came back with a very blood foot). One-turn 9f seems perfect and could be the forgotten one at 40-1. #4 Gold Dream: 3 wide no cover the trip last time and only really faded in the last furlong of a furlong longer race. Just narrowly beaten by #3 (who reportedly didn’t ship that well) in the G1 dirt feature in Japan and the inside draw is potentially perfect. #7 Maximum Security: Don’t think he’s got the early speed to go with the Dubai shippers, but has shown before that he can stalk and pounce. #8 McKinzie Good luck! |
