Prior to that race, several people went out of their way to tell me that the emphasis belonged on the first syllable, while lamenting that Trevor always emphasized the second. Furthermore, as my own absolute, full-time, harshest critic, I thought I "read" that race particularly well. Your criticism seems an extraordinary "bone to pick."
