Question about Oaklawn / Hot Springs

i live a couple hours south.
if you like the outdoors, arkansas is a great place to move. plenty of outdoor activities. lots of lakes, rivers, golf courses, etc.
the downside?
summers here get downright miserable. high humidity.
keep in mind tho, the racing is from jan to april, and that's it for arkansas.
but, there is racing south of here, in la. or northeast to ky.
you might actually be better off moving to ky!
