First of all....isn't it fairly obvious that most of what BB says is, at least somewhat, tongue-in-cheek?
But, LITF's " knockers " were basically correct. The simple fact is that he is nowhere near as good as his cheering section would make people believe. I applaud his owners, they danced all the dances all over the country, and it is not their fault there was no competition. And, LITF is a very nice horse who performed admirably, but his actual performances were in severe contrast to the massive adulation he recieved. He was a good horse but in no means some kind of super horse.
Other than finally meeting decent horses, what, praytell, was his " valid " excuse in the BC? It seems horses that unsurprisingly disappoint always have some mysterious excuse.
