politics as usual

glad to see the House of Reps has its priorities in order.
they will not have a session today. that is due to a happening of utmost importance.
what could it be? what is that great happening that will shutter part of our govt??

the football game tonight.

and before anyone leaps on me and says how dare i jump on a guy who's a dem, when i claim to be an independant--i voted for steny hoyer, more than once, as a md resident. it was his decision.
we voted these dems in (yes, i AM part of that we) to make changes they promised. one of which was to do more than the 'do nothing' congress we had had-who barely met....way to start out right.
