Shanghai Bobby exited FL Derby with pelvic fracture
Starlight press release: Starlight Racing's Shanghai Bobby sustained a pelvic stress fracture exiting the Florida Derby. Dr.Larry Bramlage estimates a 90-day rest period and expects a complete recovery.
Trainer Todd Pletcher stated, "Although it is disappointing that Shanghai Bobby has sustained this injury, perhaps this offers an explanation of his performance in the Florida Derby."

Hope He Returns
I hope he does come back; look what Animal Kingdom has done when given the opportunity to rest, heal and race as a fully mature horse.
TV's allowing Animal Kingdom to run at 5 should be applauded by race fans.
