This is truly weird, go read the article

Turner discovered that her granddaughter was mistakenly deported to Colombia by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in April of 2011.

How is it that she was unable to tell them who her people were? Did she not state I am so and so and my mother and father and grandparents are so and so.
