Default And waiting in the wings...

Any opinions that the "heir apparent" to Barbaro for the three year old championship may be Discreet Cat? I know he just shows the UAE Derby win, but Invasor came out of that race and beat older in the Pimlico Special. I believe he'll be running in the Dwyer at Belmont in a few weeks. His race at the Spa last summer was big and it seems that the Travers could be his goal.
Any thoughts on this talented colt?

IMO, the best 3 year old colt period is Bernardini - if he runs like he did in the Preakness in the Travers, etc......, the rest of his crop has no shot

Actually Mark we have scrutinized, theorized, and analyzed this crop since last summer. I'm actually looking forward to the focus being on older horses. and grass racing!!!!! I'm so burnt out on three year olds at this point that my head is spinning!

Bernardini is the horse to beat, but I'm willing to say that Discreet Cat may be the best horse in the stable. I'm going to make a very bold statement by saying that these two are one/two in the Travers. Brother Derek will be a good solid third.

Hard to put Discrete Cat in with Bernardini. I still think a fresh Sweetnorthernsaint might be able to be Bernardini. Watch for Ministers Bid though, he might be coming around just in time for a big fall.

Discreet Cat beat an older Graded stakes horses in the Pim Special. How can he not be rated over Bernardini. He beat a very suspect crew n the Preakness.

he took such a beating in th derby and preakness with a bad post ,7 wide, steering clear of barbaro, hitting the gate etc. if any horse had it going against him from derby day on it was him . this horse had just plain bad luck in those races. not saying he would win those races at all but his runs would have been much better then we seen trust me he'll be back and be in the mix
