I tried to match relative styles, strengths, potential odds etc. Bold the horse you think will finish ahead of the other.

I realize this is just for fun, but I'll try to get the actual MATCH UP bets that Wynn is offering just out of curiosity.
Of course, it's not a straight proposition. Each match-up has odds attached as well. For instance:

The thing about some of the matchups that Vegas offers is that there is often little separating the 8th place finisher from the 20th place finisher. It seems like in the Derby, you have anywhere from 1 to 3 good efforts, followed by a bunch of horses who simply throw in the towel earlier than others.

Although Backtalk was a sinch to finish last in 2010.
