Talking Pinnacle Questions

What's up all!

Great Forum. Props to whoever made this site. I was sick of the ESPN crap too. I was threeball2 on the espn site (that was mainly my basketball handle).

Anyway, about a month ago I opened an account at Pinnacle. I was very satisfied until this weekend when the site cost me 1400 dollars. Please let me know if any of you have experienced any of the problems below.

1. I hit a Pick 4 at Los Alamitos on Friday night. One of the legs there was a dead heat and I had both horses so I should of had the pick 4 twice but was only paid for it once. If I was at any track or US based horse wagering sitr I would of got paid x 2 for that pick 4. Was this a mistake bu Pinnacel or is that how they pay. I'm going to write or call them today.

2. This has happened several times to me. I play a race a minute or two before post and I get a message on my ticket, "race is closed". I played a Super in the last race of Holly yesterday that I thought I hit but when I looked at my ticket again it said "race is closed" however the very next bet I made for the same race was accepted and of course that was a loser. has anyone expeirenced this? This super paid 1100!!! Dang it!!!!

All in all it was a great weekend. I hit the late pick 4 at Holly Fri night for 2400 and I had it 2 times....

With Pinnacle, if there is a late scratch, you get your money refunded, period.....It is great when you are out of a pick three ticket, to single in the last leg, have that horse scratch, and then you get your money back on a ticket that couldn't have hit. It works both way but it is better for the player IMO....

The Race is Closed thing is bootleg. this being said, my theory on it is when your browser goes to 0 minutes to post on Pinnacle, it auto closes. I have clicked main betting section and then got back into the horse section and been able to make wagers, after I just said the race was closed....my theory at least

Thanks Scavs. I guess if I'm going to stick with Pinnacle I better get my bets in early!

Do you think Pinnacle will pay me the extra 283 dollars from the pick 4 I hit at Los Al that had a dead heat and I had both horse. I was only paid once. Do you think this was just a mistake or is that the way they payout when there'a a deadheat.

Also,

On the Pinnacle site where are the horse racing betting rules?

One more thing. Is there a cap on pick 4 payouts at Pinnacle? the reason I ask is I hit a 2400 pick 4 at Holly twice on friday night. I did get paid the complete 4800+. However in the first leg I had several horses including a 25-1 shot who had a bad trip or he would of won but instead finished 3rd about 1/2 length out. If he won that pick 4 would of paid over 10,000. If there's a cap I might not get it all.

I'm just trying to figure out if I should keep playing at Pinnacle. I do like the rebate aspect of Pinnacle. I played all day on Sunday and broke even but because of the rebate I got back 200 so I ended up 200 for the day after breaking even.

Careful on that site.

"For Pick 3's, and Pick 4's, if a horse is scratched in any leg, you will receive refunds on all combos with the scratched horse, no matter when the horse was scratched. You will not receive the track favorite or any consolation payouts, but instead a refund. This is an advantage for the player. "

Yea,big advantage (not 4 you,but 4 these f'n crooks) if your single scratches in the last leg of a p4 that you got 3 prices in the first 3 legs with.Put your single in the 1st leg. That's all you can do with these crooks.

Sorry, it was Saturday night where they had three pick 4's and a 15 race card. The pick 4 I was talking about began in 8th race and the deadheat was in the 9th I think.

I don't understand how I got paid correctly. There was a deadheat between the 4 and 9 in the second leg and I had them both meaning I should of been paid twice.

I'm checking with Pinnacle. I will let you know how it turns out.

the payout is showing both numbers included...If there were 'separate' payouts, it would show two distinct payouts.....I think some tracks combine dead heats into the exotic "pick X" tickets, some do separate payouts.

Yeah,

But I had both numbers which means I should get it twice. Even the guys on TVG @ Los Al said you get it twice if you have both horse. Damn, I wish the 9 would of won outright. The ticket would of paid over 1000. Anyway, thanks for your input SCAVS. I'm going to have to weigh the good and the bad about Pinnacle. On won hand I would of got paid twice if I was with YOUBET or BRIS. On the other hand If I was with one of these US based outlets I would not get any rebates which added up to over 300 this weekend.
