Lol … maybe in one of Rock's dreams
At some point, do you even really know what you're arguing or does it all just become words?

I have always liked how he laughs at his own words with his excessive use of 'LOL'.

Good answers … figured you guys weren't quite dumb enough to defend LH's ability to take a 10f at Saratoga…

Dude, was that even your original point? Wasn't your point that Lion Heart was some sort of cheap speed even though the horse won one of the top five or so biggest ROUTING races for three years olds in the country?

Not saying that at all. Just correcting your error about the weather during the race.

Since you never provided the article, I figure you read it wrong.

You must be getting excited. Your annual bet is coming up. Then you'll disappear for awhile. I think we're all excited about that.

Yes, your point was that Lion Heart only finished second in the 2004 Derby because of the track, and you'd hate to see Zenyatta have to run on a similar track. When confronted with evidence that Lion Heart was, indeed, a stayer, you bring up a race run in yet another monsoon as proof that Lion Heart couldn't go a route of ground. Perhaps it wasn't the track that had him second in 2004 and instead it was talent? It doesn't seem to be implausible considering the horse won the freaking Haskell.

What's really funny is that Zenyatta is the best filly since Ruffian, and according to some people, the best horse since Ruffian.

Though, that's only if every possible condition is stacked in her favor.

Once one little variable is slightly unfavorable, they start flapping their wings and clucking like a coop full of angry hens.

The funniest part about the whole thing is Lion Heart got hurt in the Travers and was retired the day after the race.

I was just going to mention that something that probably affected Lion Heart in the race was, oh I don't know, but maybe he didn't run so well because he broke his *&#^@&! leg in the running of the race. I don't know about you Hoss, but breaking a leg in a race doesn't exactly seem conducive to winning a race...

In 2001, Willard left Mandella to work for Shirreffs, who had won that year’s Kentucky Derby with Giacomo, owned by the Mosses.

Oh wow.

I have a habit of lapsing into a temporary coma any time I see the name Giacomo so that's my excuse for missing it.
