If people stop going bankrupt from having a sick family member, then I'm all for it. If poor people can get something treated before it's too late, then I'm all for it. If you don't care about others, then you're not gunna get it. So, don't try to figure it out. It's better than blowing money by sending our inept military into Muslim Beehives (where the scum citizenry is on the side of the thugs.) We know how that goes. If you don't have honorable babysitters to turn the reins over to, then how are you ever going to really hold anything long term? It's stupid. Don't fight for land if you don't have someone decent to turn it over to. You need a better plan than that.

Health care might have stayed dead if the insurance companies hadn't started raising rates about 2-3 weeks after Massachusetts elected that Republican for Senator. They're brazen.

What a coward O'Dumbass is by saying he is going to invoke the majority rule thing instead of using how the voting rules has been in the past. O'Dumbass has already proved he is not afraid to put his own party under the bus. Some leader that the Democrat party has. He has already show me that he could care less about the military, retired military, and people on Social Security. Hopefully in 2013 this country will have a Republican leading it.
I don't get how you can say here that the President doesn't care about the retired military and on the other thread say you have great health coverage? Isn't that quite contradictory? When he takes it away, then you can complain away.

A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government. ~~~Thomas Jefferson

Default Joe Biden

Joe ....

Quote:
Vice President Joe Biden, perhaps overcome with excitement during his speech congratulating President Obama on the passage of health care reform, dropped an F-bomb on live television when he turned to Obama and said, "This is a big ****ing deal."

The microphone just barely catches it, but listen closely and you'll hear it. This is surely a high point in Biden's long history of verbal gaffes.

UPDATE 12:54 PM The White House must not be too upset about Biden's comment -- Press Secretary Robert Gibbs just tweeted:

"And yes Mr. Vice President, you're right... "
