Default Track Ambience

Did I spell that right?

Spending the day yesterday at Churchill sitting in the stands, I once again was taken back by the pure love (or so it appears) of the folks in attendance when they clapped and cheered the winner each time the horse and jockey came back to get their pictures taken, etc.. Folks in attendance time and again would stand and cheer the winner. I just can't help but think that alot of these folks are not doing this because they are cashing but out of a love and respect for the game.

Side note to the ladies working the reception area at the Matt Winn Restaurant - take Customer Service 101. When I ask the question -

Do you have any tables left (at 1:30pm, right after you open the doors)

and you respond

"Your joking right?"

then proceed to yell at my Grandmother who was simply looking at the buffett

need I say more?
